Bubby and the Bergshoeffs: Furry Friends Fur-Ever Tail

“Bubby (originally named Mazda) is the first cat I’ve had with my husband,” Marissa acknowledges happily. “When we adopted him on January 1st, 2024, after searching for an especially sweet and cuddly cat who also enjoys playing, he was the perfect match. And the best way to begin the New Year!

“He loves lying on our chests and bellies where he is closest to us. He also loves frisking and frolicking, here, there and everywhere, later in the evening and early in the morning. One of my favorite ways to play with him is by engaging in our own special version of peekaboo. Bubby will either be on the couch and I’ll pop up from behind it or he’ll jump up to the top of the couch. I’ve never had a cat who did that before, and I absolutely love it!

“Not only is he hilarious, but he’s also seriously the sweetest cat ever. Now that I’m pregnant, I’m home more often and this allows me to spend much more time snuggling him during the day. And after the baby arrives, I know he’s going to LOVE snuggling him or her.

 “I can’t imagine life without my precious Bubby now.”
